To solve the iTunes video "black screen error" (black video screen;time on 0 sec;no progress) for newer CPUs just install this kext.

1. Download and Install Shiki.kext to /Library/Extensions or /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/...

Hi all,


This is long overdue, but it’s finally here - my personal jumping through hoops to get 10.11.5 up and running on my Z170-HD3P.


Since I wrote the first “Guide”(if you can call it that) my hardware has changed slightly, so the list is updated accordingly. Basicly I added a little more RAM and changed my SSD.

I spent quite a bit of time on this, so I hope this benefits someone...

What's Working/Included:
- Audio
- Proper USB's/Customized SSDT-USB.dsl
- Ethernet
- GPU with full Acceleration
- Memory Recognition

What's Not Working:
I'm not sure... I think everything works. If you find something that does't work I'll fix it.

BIOS Setting:
  • BIOS Features
    • Fast Boot = Disabled
    • Windows 8/10 Features = Other OS
    • Storage Boot Option Control = UEFI Only...

Hello, trying to get an HP DC7900 up and running.

I know it has been done already. I wanted to post here to help others who might also be trying to get a HP in this family going.

I built a Unibeast installer. Standard options.

I know of a DST to add.. Would I do this before my first attempted boot?

When I try to boot the Unibeast.. I get a reboot loop.. I assume it is a kernel panic of some type.

XFX HD 5450 don't work on Yosemite

Hello guys, excuse me for bad english ahead...

I tried to get work this gpu (1GB) on yosemite 10.10.1 with its kext.. but nothing.
The id is 0x68F91002, and in system information it's recognized correctly, but i see "no kext loaded".
So, i tried to load the kexts (AMD5000Controller and AMDRadeonX3000, with the correct ID) through the terminal, but
it's impossible to load for error signature.

Any idea?

Hey there,

I had a friend follow the instructions on LifeHacker to create me a bootable version of El Capitan.

Clover loads up but upon trying to install in verbose mode it freezes at AMFILoadTrust.

Here is a photo of the screen:

I tried renaming config_HD4000_1366x768.plist found at http://github.com/rehabman/os-x-clover-laptop-config and using that as the config.plist but then the option to choose Mac OS X on Clover disappears.

I am installing all the drivers for this version of Mac OS: WebDriver-346.03.15f01, WebDriver-346.03.15f02 ...

Hi everyone,

I did my due diligence and searched before posting this question, so forgive me if I missed something.

I remember reading a post (either here or on another forum) stating that wake does not yet work when using the HD 530 graphics that are built into the Skylake processors.

My rig will sleep, but when I try to wake it, it won't fully wake up. The power comes back on, but nothing responds, monitor stays in low power mode.

If I leave it in that state, it will eventually take...

Good morning I have HP gaming 15 (here the link of the laptop http://store.hp.com/ItalyStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=P1E00EA&opt=ABZ&sel=NTB) and I tried to install on it OS X El Capitan downloading the OS using VMware and than I installed it on a USB 2.0 8 GB with UniBeast selecting UEFI bios.
