Background

High Temperature on CPU when I boot

Hi there, I have the CPU which reaches 97° C (206,6° F) when I start the computer and it keeps this temperature basically always. My build is slowing down too. Do you have any advice? Thank you!

I know all in one PCs are rare to be mackintosh able.
But I want to check if my hardware on the Lenovo b520e is compatible or not.

I don't want play games, I just want it for starting iOS development.

The specs are following.

CPU : Intel Pentium G630 / 2.7 GHz
MOBO : LGA1155
RAM : 8 GB ddr3
GPU : Integrated Intel HD 2000 graphics.

SSDT generation creates 5 SSDT's, which one to use?

I followed TonyMac's guide on how to generate an SSDT but no matter what I do, even deleting all the SSDT's from the folder prior to running the script, I get 5 SSDT's written to '~/Library/ssdtPRGen/'...named SSDT.aml, SSDT-1.aml etc. Some of them are 23kb in size, others 2kb and no idea which one to use.

Hithere,

Just got installed a Clover system on my 3rd system (see signature) - anyone having a quick hint how to fix the graphics?

Only HDMI is working (I remember from previous attempts that main display used to work) and the screen is distorted all the time.

I have recently started getting into basic app development for Android and Windows. Although I will probably never release anything, I wanted to start messing around iOS app development however this requires a mac which is something I can't afford. I have an old Dell Inspiron 1545 that I have seen people posting about online supposedly getting OSX working. Those posts seem old and the hardware configuration is different to mine.

So would it be possible to install any version of OSX on this...

Can't boot without computer monitor

I am using a mac hachintosh as slave machine. So i do not have to connect a monitor to the system. But it does not boot without a monitor, once i hook a hdmi based monitor to it, i am able to boot fine but if i boot without a monitor, it does not boot.

I do not have a spare monitor. Is there anything i can do to boot into hachintosh with el capitan without a screen? I access the system via Lan screen share feature of mac.

My system is i7 2600k with hd 3000 graphics. Gigabyte gigabyte...

I just thought I'd give people an easy to find guide for this information. Hope the mods are alright with that, and that this doesn't violate any posting guidelines.

1. Why does this happen?


The simple explanation is; Windows uses Greenwhich time, and OSX uses Universal Time. It's as simple as that. Every time the other OS boots up - it changes around your BIOS settings in-order to 'correct' the CPU clock timer - which is essential for any computer to calculate...

Wake not working

Can't seem to get wake to work at all, tried many solutions i have found in the forums to no avail. Tried different bios settings... tired different mouse. Not sure if theres kext or something i may need.

my specs are:

el capitan
mobo: asus p5q pro
cpu: quad core 2.83
video card: nvidia 560 ti

Anyone have and ideas?

I do understand that the vast majority of the members just look to build a "cheaper than original" mac whatever, this is good !

I've had my hackintosh running smoothly with that motherboard, a bunch of drives, 16 gigs of ram, and an I7-2600K. Years. Now I just cannot get it updated to El Capitan. It starts the first time but once I use Multibeast I get a boot loop.

Anyone want to help? I am not sure what to do at this point. It would be great to do it over Skype, something like that.

Running Yosemite and Windows 10

I have a Hackintosh running Clover and Yosemite fine without any issues (the site helped a lot - cheers).
I also now want to be able to run Windows on it also, but I'm not sure the easiest way (or how) to do it.

I have a legit Windows 10 on a USB and a separate internal SSD drive and I assume the easiest method is to install Windows on this SSD and boot into it when needed - or is virtualisation easier?

Does anybody have the step by step instructions of how to do either? This was my first...

Hello, everyone.
I have a bit of an issue that is really getting on my nerves. I haven't been able to find what causes it so I seek your help here.

Every time I hit the right mouse button on the desktop or in Finder window, whether it's clean space of a folder or some file, it hangs completely! By completely I mean, I can't do anything with Finder until I at least log out and log back in.

I have just installed the system, nothing else is there, except Clover (provided by MultiBeast...
