My Hackintosh (running in Big Sur 11.5.2 | Opencore 0.7.2 and) has SMBIOS of iMac19,1 and when I tried to play music in Apple Music the track will just skipped.

I found a workaround for it, I have disabled my Internal Graphics in my BIOS Setting. However the drawback is I cannot work with my Sidecar.

I have also tried switching my SMBIOS (from iMac 19,1) to Macpro7,1 and iMacpro1,1, found in some forums it is working on there end but they're not mentioning the sidecar part.

I wonder if anyone has previously encountered or solved this very specific problem. I'm currently on macos Sierra (10.12.6) using Clover r4173. I want to upgrade Clover to a newer version (r5138) so that I can upgrade to Big Sur. The problem is that I have a B250 chipset and an m.2 NVME SSD -- under Sierra, this means that I need the IONVMeFamily Pike R. Alpha Patches to allow booting. Hello,

I've been successfully running a Hackintosh on Yosemite for a few years now. The thing is, as time goes by, I can't less and less update my software programs. I was wondering if my hardware could handle an update to Big Sure or even Catalina ?

Is There a compatibility chart somewhere ?

My customac is based on a Gigabyte z97x-UD5H motherboard powered by an intel i7 4790K processor (quad-core) and 32Gigs of RAM. Regarding graphics, I'm using the outlet of the motherboard.

Hi, after years of running on my hackintosh, i stupidly modified the kext Whatevergreen and lilu with a tool.
Mac did not start after reboot, I changed the "graphics injector" options with "Load video bios" parameters, the mac started with jerky graphics, with many glitches. With clover configurator I verified that in my efi/clover/kext there was only FakeSMC.kext. I downloaded the default kext and I entered them but in any case the mac does not start anymore.

Hi,

I have a Catalina setup with Intel 530 GPU enabled in BIOS, and my RX 480 set as the primary GPU. From what I understand, a dual GPU system where the OS uses the Quick Sync technology is 17.x or above. In Clover Configurator under SMBIOS I only my system as 14.2, which certainly doesn't fit. Every other field is blank. This is based on USB Unibeast boot drive. I don't have Clover on my Catalina drive yet. First I am trying to get the USB EFI Clover settings squared away.

macOS Big Sur 11.5.2 - laptop goes to sleep manually, wakes up a few hours into sleep

Looking to see if anyone else is having this issue. I can manually enter sleep (menu --> sleep), however a few hours into sleep my computer wakes. I also cannot automatically enter sleep.

I have the latest opencore and kexts loaded (as of August 18th), and have updated to macOS Big Sur 11.5.2. I followed all the steps included in the Dortania opencore guide for sleep.

See screenshot of pmset -g assertions. Is it this BackgroundTask named: "com.apple.avatar.activity.UserRequestedBackup"...

HWmonitor keeps asking me to install new helper tool, I type in my password and it just asks me the same thing all over again as if it never installed the helper tool to begin with.

Everything in HWmonitor is working fine but whenever I try to change the fan speed its nope
