I'm interested in building a Hackintosh to support the new LG UltraFine 5K display. It's on the November Buyers Guide too.
It uses Thunderbolt 3 over a USB C style connection to drive the display over 1 cable along with a USB C Hub, speakers, and a web camera.
What's the recommended CustoMac Pro build that would be needed to use this thing? I'd obviously like to be able to use the speakers/hub/camera too, not just the display.

I have Mojave successfully installed on my Spectre x360 (late 2017) laptop. The installation is on the same SSD as my Windows installation. I can reliably boot to Mojave using Clover on my installer USB, but I have not successfully booted to Mojave using Clover on my SSD's EFI partition. I've got an ASUS Z170-Aura running Mojave. This runs with no issues on one display via HDMI.
The problem:
I can't have a second display via display port.
What happens:
Hotplugged HDMI only -> boot no problem
Hotplugged HDMI + DP -> black screen hdmi, no signal DP
hotplugged HMDI + after boot DP -> nothing, if DP is unplugged, computer reboots.

Hackintosh Big Sur cannot see SATA drive within Installer....
.... But Disk Utility can see the SATA drive.
Running Hackintosh Big Sur REL-069-2021-0503.
Before booting into the installer, I ran diskpart in WinPE and cleaned the SATA drive. Boot into the installer, ran Disk Utility, and I was able to erase and create "Macintosh HD" volume with APFS. Exit Disk Utility and running Install MacOS Big Sur. Problem is that the installer isn't allowing me to select a volume of my choice. It is forcing the install onto the USB drive.
