When I put my machine to sleep, the display turns off, but then it restarts back to the Clover boot screen a few seconds later. Following the restart, I get these results in the syslog when I run:

log show --style syslog | fgrep "sleep"

Hey folks i got a big problem and i find no way to solve it.
Here it is:

The Machine is a MacbookPro11,1 and the original apple ssd went toast...
So i saw these threads in this forum about NVME SSDs in this and other models using an adapter.

So i bought this SSD and this adapter:
Intel 760p and an Sintech Adapter.

First thing i learned i cant restore using Internet Recovery, cause it tries to install Yosemite... (no support for NVME SSDs)

I installed MacOS on an external drive and...

For Radeon RX 4XX/5XX standalone system, AMDRadeonX4250.kext (GVA support H264) does not support HEVC HW decode/encode, need edit AMDRadeonX4250.kext info.plist, copy below settings from AMDRadeonX5000.kext info.plist to fully enable HW HEVC support,

IOGVACodec
IOGVAHEVCDecode
IOGVAHEVCEncode
IOGVAVTCapabilities

The best is create a dummy kext injector (similar to verde.kext method) and place it into Clover/kext/Other folder.

Mojave 10.14.5 Intel HD630 No resume from sleep

Hi,

I have a fully working build, except for Sleep.

System will sleep via the menu, but when it resumes there is a black screen and "system hang" - a power off reboot is necessary.

My motherboard is a ASUS Z270 Mark1 with a KabyLake 7700K Intel HD630.

The only kexts extra are WhatEverGreen, Lilu and AppleALC (as well as FakeSMC of course)

I have tried all the suggestions I can find, some threads say sleep is not possible with HD630, but I wonder if this is outdated information?

What is...

Hi Guys,

I'm fresh installing Mojave, and everything works fine, except my brightness slider, and keyboard backlight is not there.

So i went to do Rehabman guide about applebacklightfixup guide, but when I put SSDT PNLF on my clover patch, the screen would blink every second. If i remove it everything will be back to normal

Is there any advice to fix this?

Thanks!

.....it boots slow to the Apple logo (15 seconds). Once it gets to the Apple logo, it makes it to the login screen in another 10 seconds, for a total of 25 seconds. I have the NVMe installed internally using an adapter. If I use the Apple Startup Manager, the NVMe shows up as an external drive (weird) right away, then boots fast after that - for a total of 15 seconds. The NVMe does show up in the NVMe device tree and it also shows up as "bootable:yes" in disk utility. I have tried NVRAM...

Hi humans! The EFI for this laptop is now pretty complete thanks to all you nice people who participated in TonyMacX86 and Github discussions. It is also worth mentioning that, a lot of my work is credited to zysuper's work, wouldn’t make it without him. I uploaded them to Github so easier for me to do version control as well as people to get access to it...

[Guide] USB power property injection for Sierra (and later)

Summary

It appears that Sierra has changed how USB power properties are set. In prior versions, we have injected AAPL,current-available, AAPL,current-extra, AAPL,current-extra-in-sleep, and AAPL,max-port-current-in-sleep directly on the XHC/EHCI ACPI objects. In Sierra, these appear to be replaced by new properties that are injected on the AppleBusPowerController object in ioreg.

Note: 10.12.x uses AppleBusPowerControllerUSB, not AppleBusPowerController. But the configuration...

I need some help after my failing at properly installing Mojave. Firstly maybe to save your time from reading this I’ve made a OEM USB recovery of Windows before attempting to install Mojave. After making my recovery USB I deleted Disk 0 which is 1TB then made my way to install OSX with my flash drive. Disk 1 is 500GB with Windows on it. So I get into Clover 4701 but it only shows “Boot Windows from EFI” and when I press F3 I also see “Boot UEIF internal EFI” and that’s it. So I tried...

Good evening to all, I wanted to ask you for help because this is my first installation on a desktop PC.
To begin with I apologize for my English, I will try to explain myself as clearly as possible.
I tried to install mac os x mojave on a desktop PC (Dell Optiplex 3050, i5-6500 CPU, without a dedicated graphics card) via clover. The problem I find is that at some point during the installation the PC restarts. With the "-v" flag I could see that during the boot it generates this...

Hi,

trying to get HS working on my PC. I tried all guides on installing and nothing seems to help.
Installation boots fine, everything seems ok. Installers say 2 minutes left, then pc restarts.
I select USB select HS installation my disk. Apple appears and restart.... Image in attachment.

Thank you.
