Intel UHD620 can't boot with ig-platform-id 0x59160000

I have laptop with Intel Coffee Lake processor i5-8250U with IGPU UHD620. I installed latest FakePCIID, FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics, IntelGraphicsFixup, and Lilu kext. First try, I use 0x59160000 (Kabylake) as ig-platform-id but system won't boot. And in second try, I use 0x19160000 (Skylake) as ig-platform-id and system boot normally. What makes my system won't boot with 0x59160000 (Kabylake) as ig-platform-id. Are 0x59160000 (Kabylake) ig-platform-id still not supported? Please help me,...

Stuck on Apple logo

Hello guys, I have a problem which after I created a bootable disk for installing High Sierra on my computer and I have configured my bios settings as said, but when I get to the boot screen and select high Sierra I get stuck in the Apple logo screen.

My pc conf is :

CPU: intel 6800k
Mother board: Asus X99 A-II
VGA: Asus ROG 1060gtx
16 gb ram

any one has any solution for me please

When I select safe mode with space when it goes to apple logo suddenly changes to a white do not...

Loud beeping sound at bootup with Clover

Hello there,
I'm having a problem with my UEFI Clover on Sierra 10.12. Everything worked perfectly until I installed the second VoodooHDA sound driver with MultiBeast. When I boot my laptop up there's a very high, loud sound which is horrible because I always have to force shut down my laptop :/
Do you think that reinstalling Sierra with my USB key will work? I really don't know what to do :/

I've had this build for a few years and it was pretty solid in the beginning. Now the two main issues I'm having:

Almost daily my onboard NIC will stop passing traffic. I resolve the issue with ifconfig en0 down/up and it's back to normal. I have also had issues with uploading files via web pages and sites like facebook messenger. This is mainly a digital audio workstation so it doesn't get browsed on a lot. It's main use is to run Logic X 10.1.1

Hi everyone, I was looking for an Optiplex 780 on the internet. I found an Optiplex 780 SFF with Core 2 Duo E8500 @ 3.16GHz, 4GB of RAM, a 255W PSU and a 160GB HDD. Do you think that an Optiplex 780 with a Palit Geforce GT610 will work with OS X Yosemite / El Capitan?

Hey guys... So I just finished up getting a 10.13.3 High Sierra System running on the hardware listed in my signature and profile. Boy was that a job. Everything is working GREAT! I only have 1 issue left which really I can live with but I'm curious as to what it is. I have a device listed in the finder called Remote Disc. It has a cd rom icon. The thing is I have no cdrom installed or anything that would bring up this remote disk. I have attached a screenshot. Any Ideas? It will not eject...

Hey y'all

Recently I sold my gpu, and have temporarily gone back to my old gpu a Nvidia Quadro 2000.
Got it installed and changed the efi a bit to get it to post and be reconiced in the system.

Happy days (sort of) while it works, the are many glitches in the background that also appears in some applications, plus I can't get the second screen to show up in the system.

I can't figure out what I'm missing in the config file, hope you guys can help.

Windows Update/Install no success with Clover on Lenovo Y50-70

I have a dual boot System : win10 / El cpaitan on my lenovo y50 70.
I santi update Windows 10 hit, when i try it, i get a error that say me that i can't do it.
When i boot windows 10 ver 1709 installation by the USB, the installation complete but i get this error to end.

I did a TM recovery when I put a new NVME drive in my hac and now at boot I get an error showing in the APFS text that flashes up at boot.

The error is
"nx_dev_init:860: warning: superblock indicates jumpstart record but this driver was not loaded from that partition"

I had some issues booting but appear to have been addressed by updating APFS.efi on my EFI with one from the /usr/stanadalone/i386/ folder

The error remains even though it will carry on and boot after a short pause.

Hi, it's a big maddening. I'm on 10.13.3, with RX580, everything is fantastic, fast, smooth, I can work with both my monitors connected to the DP ports of the RX580, but the TV connected to one of the two HDMI ports is black.

When the TV gets no signal, it's blue, so it's getting 'something', and I can even change the resolution within Preferences. In System configuration, I can see the TV is listed as 32W_LCD_TV, so there is some sort of communication between the TV and the computer...

Dock transparency after 10.13.3 Supp Update

A minor annoyance but I noticed the dock transparency changed after the update to 10.13.3 Supplemental. It's now a solid grey. I was able to find the setting at System Preferences - Accessibility - Display - Reduce transparency. Its checked and if I uncheck it goes back to normal but it does not survive a reboot. It then goes back to being checked.

Any ideas on how I can make this change persistent?
