USB Install issues - OpenCore - Monterey - CoffeeLake

This is my first time using OpenCore after successfully running Clover fo many years on my CoffeeLake PC.

I've created a USB bootable drive and installed the OpenCore EFI folder. I've followed the OpenCore CoffeeLake install guide to the letter. On booting into the USB drive and selecting the Install macOS Monterey, I'm running into some issues I don't fully understand. Looking at the boot log, I can see OC failed to find SSDT-PCM.aml. This file is with the other ACPI files, so there must...

OpenCore no boot chime

I've been trying to get the boot chime to work on an Acer Swift 3 gold laptop. The laptop has the ALC255 codec and the audio works inside the MacOS. I've installed Big Sur. I've followed the OpenCore guide up until the AudioOut option. I had to leave that option for now. I filled out all the other options. The guide says that you can find out how many outputs there are on the log. An example is given. Unfortunately, the entry shown in the example does not show on my debug log.

I've been...

Amazing Amazon Deals on the 7020 and 9020 USFF, SFF and MT models. Consistently in the top 10 best sellers of all Amazon desktops. The MT (mini-tower) is not a true tower. It's similar to a micro ATX size case. The small form factor (SFF) works either on your desk or on the floor next to it. These run quiet (with the stock fans) and have high quality power supplies. Many are made by Delta and are 80+ gold rated for efficiency.

Hello,

I'm new to hackintosh and I have made a little mistake while making my installation disk.
When I boot up my Installation disk, it says "OC: Failed to load configuration!".
At first, I restarted it a few times, normally. After 3-4 restarts, I opened up OpenCore Sanity Check (https://opencore.slowgeek.com) just to see that i'm missing the entire UEFI Group. I haven't figured out how to fix it after a few hours so i'm asking here.
Here is a picture of what OpenCore Sanity Check...

General NVMe Drive Problems (Fatal)

There's discussion in Monterey threads about slow boot times with Samsung. Dortania (vit9696) has narrowed this down to problems in Trim support versus Apple's NVMe driver. They are asking for users to help with their testing.

Moreover, according to same article, Apple's NVMe driver is known to be fatal for Phison based drive brands due to workloads that can cause the drive to overload and fail losing all data, which I have seen myself...

I think this has something to do with framebuffering?
Yet hackintool does not provide my GPU (Intel UHD 620), I'm stuck.

Also tried:

I have only one display0 listed (my laptop monitor) my connecter-type is set to <02 00 00 00> which is Laptop displays which makes sense, but I can't just connect hdmi and do that guide, because as soon as I connect it, it reboots suddenly.

Hi,
I have an Nvidia GT 710, throuh HDMI 2.0 and trying to change the screen to a new one with 4k. I am finding the refresh rate on mac is 30 Hz, impossible to change it, in the menu (not the option long option "scale"), also not possible with "SwitchresX" or others tools like this.
the thing is that 4k and 60 Hz is working pretty well on windows, but no in MacOS.

Any ideas?
I've read something about HDMI 2.0 and hackingtool options, or changing the graphic card.
But if is it working on...

UPDATE- I had success using OpenCore Legacy Patcher (OLCP). I was not able to get the chris1111 patcher to work with my system. See page 2 for more information.

I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 graphics card and am nervous about updating to Monterey as my card isn't natively supported.

There is at least one person who has had success using an NVIDIA graphics card.

I am fairly noob-ish so smarter people than I will probably tell me how to do this better.

hello everyone,

I am new to hacktintosh. I was planned to buy a Z490 vision D and 10700K to build a hacktinosh, but the I cannot find any Z490 VISION D available. So I chose Z590 Vision D which is on sell at ebay. I planned to get a 6600xt GPU, but it is too difficult or the price is too high. And 11th's iGPU is not supported. I am not a gamer, just need this to connect one 4k monitor+ one 1080p monitor or two 4k monitor.

So my first question is can I just use i7-10700k's iGPU with Z590...

Hello everyone, I successfully installed Big Sur on Asus UX501VW with an external monitor connected to HDMI, but the internal UHD display doesn't work and after booting it shows some text and freezes until I connect the external monitor, but the graphics accelerator works well with the external monitor, how can I make the internal monitor work with 4K or just full HD?

Overview

The purpose of this guide is to provide a step-by-step guide to install Mojave, High Sierra, Sierra, or El Capitan on the Kaby Lake Intel NUC7 series Intel NUC mini computers. My NUC7 is the NUC7i7BNH, although I expect the guide will work on other similar models. Preliminary support for the NUC8 "Bean Canyon" has also been added.

I installed with 8GB RAM (one stick), and an SM951/AHCI M.2 SSD. Recommend two sticks in dual-channel.

This guide does not use Unibeast nor...
