What macOS version should i use?

I am first time to here and gonna install macOS on my desktop.
I tried using unibeast but nothing happened.

My specs are like below:

Motherboard : ASRock B85M Pro3
CPU: QuadCore Intel Corei7-4790
GPU: nVidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti
Memory: 32GB

Am i able to install macOS?

Not long ago, it was said that it was impossible to boot a Z490 based 11-gen system on High Sierra, and it was also said that it could not run Opencore. Well folks, this is the guide you've all been waiting for! This system is both High Sierra AND Mojave compatible!

[GA-Z490M-GAMING-X] System won't boot up with 11.5.2 [opencore 0.7.2]

Hello!

I'm back with a new thread about my configuration. Everything was ok until 11.5.2 when i messed up completely my system.

What I did : I took sample.plist 0.7.2, edited all that I needed with Textmate, and now it won't boot. I used opencore configurator just to verify my config.plist (which was correct until 0.6.7 and not above. I don't know if it's linked to opencore sanity checker but it's wrong.

Hello,

Mojave 10.14 installed perfectly on my os everything is working ( GPU, WIFI, AUDIO, ExpressCard,Battery) except:

1.Brightness - Might be due to Nvidia discrete GPU only, no intel graphics here (dont care much though)
2. TURBO- that's important!!! goes only to 2.6ghz top instead of 3.4. multipliers are working, max is x26.

I dont have lags but turbo should be beneficial..

Any help master Rehabman or any other??

(I hope i have edited my details correctly this time Rehabman)...

Hi,

I followed the Catalina guide and have things running with my RX480 card. But I am trying to take advantage of FCP X's ability to share rendering across multiple cards.

What do I need to do to have Catalina use my RX480 as the display, but to also have the Intel on board card available to FCP X?

I booted Highsierra in my asus prime z490-p Mobo
opencore

everything working other than the vram issue


VRAM Showing 3 MB
is there anyway to fix vram
and get rid of the flickering

both DP and HDMI are working
in mirror mode
no dual monitor arrangment setting in preferences

Just managed to install Monterey Public Beta on my Asus X99 Deluxe II -- after nearly 5 hours of tinkering.

Some lessons learned:
  • Best to upgrade to OpenCore 0.7.1 and latest Kexts.
  • Turn off Bluetooth in BIOS (there is an option that just enables or disables Bluetooth).
    • This took a while to figure out.
    • Update 6 July 2021: We can use Bluetooth! The latest EFI (see Post #7 below) contains a new kext that allows Bluetooth to work...

Just got the card in the mail this morning.

It is replacing a 5700 XT which was working fine on Big Sur, OpenCore 63.

The rest of my system:

I7-8086k
MSI Z370I

The last system log shows a « PerfPowerService » error, unauthorized client on AMDRadeonX6000_AmdGpuWrangler in the pci-bridge@0 configuration.


I have tried the following so far:

- Forced my pci bus to 3x
- removed agdpmod=pikera, tried to re-add it, change definition to MacPro1,1 via board-id.
- Added an iGPU in the BIOS
