Random freezes in Hackintosh Catalina 10.15.1 Z390 ud & i9-9900K & iGPU & Crucial Ballistix Tactical 16GB*2 3000Mhz CL15

I've installed Hackintosh Catalina 10.15.1 and i face random freezes about after 2 to 4 hours.
I've used Attached clover (EFI)


Here are me specs:
CPU: i9-9900K
Md: Gigabyte Z390 UD
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tactical 16GB*2 3000Mhz CL15
GPU: Intel® UHD Graphics 630
SSD: Samsung 860 EVO 500GB

Wifi and continuity

Hi Boys,
I don't understand because my wifi card (see attached photo) don't work with continuity function. For example doesn't display any airplay icon and on finder is impossible to use "import from iPhone".

Airdrop and wifi network are enable and works.

Can you help me?

Unable to install Catalina 10.15.1 (ACPI error)

Hi all,

I'm stuck at this stage, with ACPI error blocking the path.

My hardware setup is following:

Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO WIFI
MSI Radeon RX Vega 64 Air Boost 8G OC
Intel Core i9 9900K, 3.6GHz, 16MB
Ballistix Sport AT, DDR4, 32 GB,3200MHz

Changes in BIOS so far:
disabled integrated graphics in BIOS;
disabled the VT-d;
switched Boot options to Other OS and set to UEFI;
enabled Legacy USB support (I'm using USB2.0 flash drive and 2.0 port);

I would very much appreciate any help.

Kernel Panic? after High Sierra to Catalina update

I updated my High Sierra hackintosh to Catalina. The system still boots in safe mode. I am on clover v5098.

With the release of macOS Catalina 10.15.0 you'll probably need a port-limit removal patch to begin your USB configuration on a new build.

Here it is:

As you can see we only need two patches for Catalina as opposed to four, for Mojave.

Line 1 -

Name*: com.apple.iokit.IOUSBHostFamily
Find*: 83FB0F0F
Replace*: 83FB3F0F

Line 2 -

Name* com.apple.driver.usb.AppleUSBXHCI
Find*: 83F90F0F
Replace*: 83F93F0F

Overview

The purpose of this guide is to provide a step-by-step guide to install Mojave, High Sierra, Sierra, or El Capitan on the Kaby Lake Intel NUC7 series Intel NUC mini computers. My NUC7 is the NUC7i7BNH, although I expect the guide will work on other similar models. Preliminary support for the NUC8 "Bean Canyon" has also been added.

I installed with 8GB RAM (one stick), and an SM951/AHCI M.2 SSD. Recommend two sticks in dual-channel.

macOS Mojave on HP 17-x102nl

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to install macOS Mojave on HP 17-x102nl:

CPU: Intel Core i7-7500U
iGPU: Intel HD620 - 1600x900
dGPU: AMD Radeon R7 M440 (discrete)

I created usb, but when it comes to boot, after completing the progress bar, it shows a whole black screen (instead of language selection screen). Tried USB 2 and 3 with no luck.
I thought it's something related to AMD card, so I tried to disable it temporarily through clover (unchecking Inject ATI), but maybe it wasn't the right...

Need help with Sapphire RX580 Pulse on High Sierra

Dear colleagues,

I used to have a Nvidia GTX960 GPU that I just have replaced with the above mentioned RX580 Pulse 8GB. The new GPU was discovered just fine, it runs accelerated, except just one issue with the fans. The fans are running both very high rpm, but still in HWMonitorSMC2 the fans rpm is reported as being zero and the temperature 35C. I'm running the latest 10.13.6 security patch. Do you have any ideas how to lower the fan speed, make the system back silent and correctly read...

Hi all! I'm about to buy Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13.3" i5 8250U (2018 model) and I want to install macOS in it. From what I read so far, the only unsolvable problem is WiFi.. As the installed Intel WiFi isn't supported, I was thinking about going for the native solution, which is a Broadcom, rather than buying an external usb adapter. I want to build a 3D & Video machine but I was wondering if the NVIDIA QUADRO K4200 will work on a hackintosh.
Its the updated version of the K4000

  • [bios settings => intel display ENABLED]
  • RX580 sapphire pulse
  • Catalina (10.15) upgrade from Mojave (10.14)
  • Clover r5070 (no intel inject)
  • Latest kexts = [ Lilu, whatever green, FakePCI,...]
Not posting files just yet; everything is working great except when I play a TV App show (anything - free, owned, ...) it scrolls over to a BLANK screen with just the control overlays on it (10 sec back, 10 sec forward...

Followed a couple different guides and I can't seem to get this device to show up. I need it as I don't have a supported internal wifi card. Just using a usb wifi dongle at the moment and can't access imessage or even the app store.

I am trying to setup the Mac on my PC
Asus ROG STIX B-360 Gaming
Radeon Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+ 8GB
Intel i5 8400
SSD ADATA XPG SX8200 PRO 512GB PCIe x4 NVMe

Best Laptop for Hackintosh

My old 15" has died and I need to replace. I'd like to know what makes and models are the simplest to get a Mac OS on. I have two requirements; a HD 17" screen, and backlit keyboard. I do some 3D work so a good video card would be great too. Cost is less of an issue, but I do have a limit.

Hi,

I try to install Mojave on my new Hackintosh.
I used Unibeast 9.0.0 to create bootable USB with Mojave 10.14.2
But during clover boot install I have the following message "couldn't allocate runtime area" and I don't know why.
I boot on differents USB 2 ports but it doesn't work..

NVME Power management support - APST

Hello,

I've searched everywhere for a way to enable power management for NVME drivers on Mojave and I need some assistance.

I have a Ideapad 720s-15IKB that comes with a pm961 m.2 NVME SSD. I managed to set it up properly(sleep, touchpad, cpu pm, igpu, battery, screen brightness hotkeys and even found a way to enable battery charging threshold via a fn-hotkey with a dsdt patch).

My main concern is that the M.2 does not have proper power saving enabled and this leads to poor battery...

Hey there.
I've been on High Sierra for a while with a silent passive 1050ti. I use my machine for recording audio mostly, and i need the machine to be as near silent as possible. It works really well at the moment and has done for years but I'm starting to use FCPX a lot more, and would like to upgrade to something like a RX590? It seems this would be a big improvement for FCPX performance.

Does anyone know of any brands of card that have guaranteed silent fans when load is under a certain...

Hi guys, I'm currently trying to turn my Dell Precision Tower 5810 into a hackintosh, which contains an X99/C612 chipset, E501630v4 CPU, 32GB ECC RAM, and an nVidia GTX 1080 graphics card. I followed tutorials in this forum and some found threads, but I could not boot into installer. Following pictures shot during booting and my clover directory, sorry for the bad quality.
