Updated 07/3/2018. This solution works in High Sierra 10.13.6 as well as several previous versions of MacOS. I didn't create the tools I only figured out how to use them. Credit for the kext goes to andrejkw at macrumors. Your mileage may vary but this is the easiest solution I've found. I've used it for years & its worked for many others. Definitely worth a try.

Hi,
I just installed a fresh copy of high sierra. I got the installer from the official App Store with my MacBook. Installation itself wasn't a problem.
But now, if I want to install the nvidia web driver it always give me the following error message:

"Mac OS X version 10.13.6 (17G4015) is required for this update. Please update your OS version and try again."

I have googled a bit and NEVER! found the build id 17g66, not even on wikipedia where the latest build id is 17G4015 (But it's...

During mojave boot in verbose mode via Clover 4674 from USB the screen got stuck at a peculiar line, what can I do? I tried rebooting and starting in safe mode with verbose but nothing much different happened. It got stuck again.

Any idea of which the problem might be? (Verbose Screen attached in file)

Additional Info:
The USB was built with Unibeast 9 on Mac OS X Sierra Virtual Machine on Virtualbox and I didn't inject either ATI nor NVIDIA graphics. The laptop is HP Spectre X360...

Overview

The purpose of this guide is to provide a step-by-step guide to installing Mojave, High Sierra, Sierra, El Capitan, or Yosemite on the Lenovo u330/u430/u530.

Note: This guide will also work with Mavericks, although that is not my primary testing target.

Well I have made a bootable installer USB using UniBeast.
I can get to installation page on my laptop but I wasn't able to load it on my PC:
MSI h370 Bazooka
Intel i5 8400
Ripjaws 2400 8GB x2
Samsung Evo970 250GB
No Graphic card
Mostly it gets stuck at apfs load line.But sometimes I get a random restart
I use a USB 2 port and yes I have tried other ports (except the Type-C)
I even removed the Nvme but its still stuck at the same line
Am I missing something here?

Hello,

Been a 6 year hacker but I have been lucky that I have never really had any problems I couldn't figure out through the forum posts.

Recently I updated my computer from 3770k to a 8700k w/ Asus Maximus X + 1tb Sandisk SSD(Data) + Raid 0 SSD(2xsdd for video) + WD Black Nvme drive + 980ti. I used Storks guide to do this.

It was not a new install. All I did was update the hardware and put my boot HD and started updating kexts as needed.

I kept the System at iMac 14,2 and the CPU is OC...

I've got an issue. I had a smooth running hack with 8700k and I upgraded to 9900k. Nothing else changed.
Everything runs smooth but I need to optimise my graphics related settings. My computer shows "Intel 500" as my iGPU when it has a UHD630. The computer does use the iGPU in tandem with the RX580 so something is correct.

When I try to do any kind of HEVC conversion or export, my computer shuts off immediately and restarts.

I've attached my EFI folder + the latest IOREG file.

Please help...

This community has been so helpful to me in the past, so I'm hoping that someone can come to my rescue again.

I've been using my hackintosh as my main machine for at least a year, and for the most part I've been very pleased with it. However, I've noticed in the last few months or so, the system has become increasingly unstable, to the point where macOS locks up multiple times a day, and I've started losing unsaved work (at least until the last autosave) because of it.
