Hello guys,
I just build my first Hackintosh. The installation went (more or less) smooth when I used my iGPU (it’s an Intel HD 2000) but only with basic drivers and crappy a resolution. Now I attached a Saphire Pulse RX 570 to get full graphics support. But once I added the graphics card, Mojave keeps booting into a Blackscreen. When using verbose mode the last Message before the screen becomes Black is ‚IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0‘

Audio crackling/noise on Mojave - Dell e7440 - ALC292

Hello.

I Have an E7440 Dell Laptop,

It is working with Mojave, However, whenever I plug a Headphones in, It is crackly and unusable.

A cold boot usually fixes this and I think it may be related to CodecCommander.

I have uploaded the files, could you please help me solve this issue?

Thank you in advance for helping me out on this. I've been racking my brain for days on this issue and I just can't figure it out. With the new update, I can't find a way to see the threads I'm following anymore. How can I see them?

Also, is there a way to view posts that "I" have "liked"? I can see who's "liked" my posts, but not the other way around.

I'm trying to troubleshoot a graphical issue before I send my new GPU back for a replacement.

-I bought a new display for a CustoMac mATX build (100% based on the Buyer's Guide).
-The display is a BenQ 28 inch 4K HDR Monitor (EL2870U).
-GPU is a Sapphire RX580 Pulse 8GB, as per the Buyer's Guide.

I'm getting some faint interference on the display. It looks like an overlay of faint red and green pixels, dancing randomly like TV snow.

-I tried a known good display hooked up...

Hey guys! I'm in need of some major help with my Hackintosh which I put together about a year ago. The build was super easy and had no issues with installing but I've been having random crashes recently when I'm using Photoshop and Final Cut Pro. Mainly when I'm re-sizing things in Photoshop it will just shut down and reboot. At first I thought it could be my graphic's card and went ahead and upgraded it to a Sapphire Pulse RX 580 but it's still crashing. I also tested my ram with memtest...

Overview

One of the serious issues most users will face with 10.11.x (and later, including 10.12.x) is the new USB stack in OS X/macOS. It has a much heavier reliance on ACPI, and as a result is much more likely to expose bugs in your ACPI implementation of _PLD, and _UPC.

Hang on initial install boot

New build:

Gigabyte H370 with Intel 9600K. From the clover menu I choose Install External. I get hr Apple Logo and the progress bar hangs with around 3mm of white bar showing. Never progresses.

I’m on the MOBO graphics, VGA port. Booting from an 8GB USB key on a USB2 port. Tried MOBO port and case port - same result.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
