Just upgraded from Sierra to Mojave on my Skylake i3 6100 with Intel HD 530 Its a Dell Optiplex 3046 system.

In Sierra, I got full graphics acceleration by this patch, as there was no option to set DVMT from bios in my mobo.



Comment: 0x19160000/etc, 19MB framebuffer 9MB cursor bytes (credit RehabMan)
Name: AppleIntelSKLGraphicsFramebuffer
Find: 01030303 00002002 00005001
Replace: 01030303 00003001 00009000


But as of now the fly kext patching from clover is no more for...

Hi
I successfully installed Mojave 10.14.2, using this config https://github.com/Errrneist/Hackintosh-Thinkpad-X1-Extreme.
I was fixing the wifi adapter and some more stuff and it would'nt boot. I replaced my EFI with the original and could boot with the config-3.6-iGPU.plist (attached) and booted up. I messed around some more to see if I could get this config working: https://github.com/zysuper/Thinkpad-X1-extreme-EFI. Would not boot and reverted again, now I get this...

Sometimes the latest drivers might be a nightmare. For example there are issues width latest 10.13.3 dirvers currently. But thee is no any option provided by NIVIDA to install older drivers.

For example I had black screen by using 387.10.10.10.25.156 and newer, whatever I tried. For digging some solution I found Vulgo's page on github. He provides vey nice and neat solution to easily install any version of NVIDIA webdrivers. Please read...

I repeat, it is possible to enable ALL USB ports on Intel 9-series motherboard, as long as you can put the USB controller in Smart Auto mode to expose both XHCI and EHCI controllers, and make sure the internal rate matching hub is connected. Reason: Smart Auto mode actually uses only a few (8 on my board) root hub ports, a far cry from the 15 port maximum on macOS.

Facts to bank on
  1. The built-in Intel hubs uses the USB hub port injector, not the root controller port...

No Shutdown or Reboot in Mojave

This Hack has no problem shutting down or rebooting when booted from High Sierra 10.13.6, but freezes at the spinning white wheel when I try shutting down or rebooting in Mojave. Everything is the same = config.plist, BIOS Settings, & Kexts. I've included my zipped EFI folder that I use in Mojave & High Sierra (I can boot from High Sierra from a USB 3.0 drive).
Please help, otherwise I may have to go back to HS full time.

The hardware in my Sig is what I'm currently using.

Hi Everyone I'm new on the Hackitosh world, and I've spent 2 full days trying to make the latests versions of MacOS on My Computer.

Specs:
Mother Board: MSI Z97-G45 GAMING
CPU: i7-4790k
Graphics: GTX 1080
Attached the Clover Config.plist

I'm using the AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext, pretty sure this is the one.
Also tried others Like RealtekRTL8111.kext and IntelMausiEthernet, none of those worked.
When I do the

Basically everything shows as normal... Not...

OK, first off, since this is a potential system and not yet listed on my sig, here's the hardware I'm working with:
Mobo: Gigabyte z390 Aorus Pro Wifi (both original F5 BIOS and F6 latest BIOS gave same results)
CPU: i7 8700k
RAM: 32GB 2400 Crucial, 8GB/stick (tried with all slots populated and then just one, also tried moving the single stick to every slot, no change)
GPU: NVIDIA GT720 (also tried with the internal UHD630 when I removed all PC cards, still no change).

The problem? I can't...

Hello!

Using this guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...t-upgrade-fresh-install-on-h270n-wifi.233433/ and some own problem solving I was able to install and successfully boot High Sierra.

But one problem remains, which I couldn't find here or anywhere else. When I use my Pascal card - a 1060 GTX, it boots fine but only the cursor is visible, everything else is black. I can interact with the things though.

So.... why don't they? It seems to me that if someone (Xiaomi?) just created a laptop where it a hackintosh install worked pretty much OOTB, then it would be a huge success.

Hello guys, I have trouble with the mentioned CPU at boot, I'm building couple of new computers and I'm running desperate with the darn 9820X, I have the same build with a 9980XE and no probs, working out of the box (still needs work and some more tweaking).

Here is the setup:
Asus X299D II
Samsung NVMe 970
32Gb DDR4 2666MHz Crucial RAM (x2 16Gb)
BeQuiet 1000W PSU
RX Vega FE (also tried with Vega 64 and RX 580)
i9 9820X

I have tried with both, Mojave Installation and HS, both with tunned...

Audio crackling/noise on Mojave - Dell e7440

Hello.

I Have an E7440 Dell Laptop,

It is working with Mojave, However, whenever I plug a Headphones in, It is crackly and unusable.

A cold boot usually fixes this and I think it may be related to CodecCommander.

I have uploaded the files, could you please help me solve this issue?

Just thought it would be interesting to see if anyone here owns a real Mac in addition to their Hackintosh. I have a PowerBook G4 12" 1.5. Long in the tooth at this point, and only running Leopard, but it still runs like a champ. Better than any netbook in my opinion- it has a real graphics card!! But the Geekbench score is an abysmal 727!!! :lol:
