Hello guys,
I'm trying to install High Sierra on Lenovo Ideapad Z510 but without success. I've read many topics and blogs related to similar problems and I followed guides which are here on forum but nothing helped me.
I stuck on two kind of problems:
a) Sometimes I stuck on "IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, ..."
b) Sometimes I'm getting, the loop "com.apple.WindowServer service only ran for 0 seconds"
I know it can be related to graphical card. I have no idea how should I configure...
I i have installes highsierra using unibeast (i think it had clover included) somehow i realised that when i make changes to the config.plist through cloverconfigurator they dont apply.
So i wasnt able to update to the newest verion of highsierra without sacrificing the usb3 support. So i went back to the previous version which is fine.
But the computer seems to randomly shut down on sleep.
Also i discovered a graphic glitch. Anyone any suggestions? Config plist is attached
I am trying to decide if I want to spend the extra money on an ASUS Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB for my build or just use the Nvidia 1070 I have already? I'm going to be using my build for mainly video editing but some occasional gaming. The Vega 64 card would be close to spec of what some machines Apple has on there site.
So I have decided to make the jump into building a hackintosh seeing as the new Mac Mini's will not meet my needs (cost-wise) and my mid-2011 iMac is quickly failing (more and more graphical artifacting showing the graphics card is dying). With the fact that it is a mid-2011 iMac, that means it is not compatible with Mojave and thus has served me well but is time to be replaced.
This will be a slow build as I am purchasing parts as I get funds available or find deals. The main purpose of...
It’s my first time to build a hackintosh. I am stuck with the installation.
My PC specs:
Intel Core i3 8100
Gigabytes B360N AORUS Gaming Wi-Fi
Kingston A400 SATA3 120GB
First, I updated the BIOS to the latest version and then changed the BIOS setting based on the installation guide. I passed the Apple logo and entered macOS Utilities. Next, I formatted the SSD to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) with the Disk Utility and then clicked install macOS. It went well until it suddenly shut down at...
Have a working high sierra setup which never gives me any problems. Trying to direct install or install to another drive the public beat of Mojave gives me a black screen when it goes to init the graphics.
Not really sure where to start as I would have thought the Radeon was Natively supported as it works fine in High Sierra.
Here is a screen shot of where it blanks out. It appears the install keeps going as there is hard drive activity but no image.
The purpose of this guide is to provide a step-by-step guide to installing Mojave, High Sierra, Sierra, El Capitan, or Yosemite on the ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook equipped with Intel graphics.
Note: For Broadwell and Skylake hardware, you must install at least 10.11. Broadwell support in 10.10 is not stable (previous versions no Broadwell support). And Skylake support was only introduced in 10.11 (.?), and only stable enough for use in 10.11.4 or later.
The purpose of this guide is to provide a step-by-step guide to install Mojave, High Sierra, Sierra, or El Capitan on the Kaby Lake Intel NUC7 series Intel NUC mini computers. My NUC7 is the NUC7i7BNH, although I expect the guide will work on other similar models. Preliminary support for the NUC8 "Bean Canyon" has also been added.
I installed with 8GB RAM (one stick), and an SM951/AHCI M.2 SSD. Recommend two sticks in dual-channel.
I finally got my system up and running after four days of sheer madness trying to update from Yosemite/Chimera to Sierra/Clover. The good news is - it works!
I know there is a lot, especially when you dive into Clover, but I hope you find this guide helpful.
First thing first, Sabertooth x79 USBs WILL NOT work when try reaching Sierra...
Overview
The Gigabyte Designare Z390 has attracted the attention of the Hackintosh community because of its built-in Titan Ridge Thunderbolt 3 controller. This is a full-featured ATX motherboard that also contains a Socket 1 NVMe card for WiFi/Bluetooth. Although the motherboard ships with Intel's latest WiFi/Bluetooth card, MacOS only supports Broadcom devices at this time. The allure of the Socket 1 card, of course, is that new WiFi and Bluetooth versions in the future can be...

bit of background: I put my hardware together and installed Mojave in the middle of November. I’ll it’s pretty much the same as this: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...-8400-ga-z370n-wifi-i630-airport-card.258728/
...except using an Xfx graphics card. For a couple of weeks it was like a rock - stable, fast, everything I could ask for. Then I noticed a couple of kernel panics... I put it down to the software I was using and didn’t think much more about...
This originating post constitutes a new macOS 10.13 High Sierra Desktop Guide for Skylake-X/X299, which certainly can still grow and improve by your estimated user feedback. This Skylake-X/X299 10.13 High Sierra Desktop Guide bases on the ASUS Prime X299 Deluxe. However, also other X299 ASUS...
I'm new to the forum,Hello to all. I am currently having trouble getting my hack up and running. I have aorus gaming 7 mobo 8700k cpu corsair lpx 3200mhz gtx 1080ti 11gb. I can install Mojave sometimes but without sound and my graphics card only says 7mb. I've looked at several guides but none of them have an refi folder that I can use without problems. ANY help would not go unappreciated.
