I'm posting this info here in the event it helps someone else down the line. I've got a fresh install of 10.13.3 on my system. Everything works, except for Photos. When I enabled the iCloud Photo Library option in Photos, the app would just sit with the message "Updating x Items", but nothing would ever download. Nothing seemed to work. I spent a couple weeks on this trying every suggestion I came across. Today, I opened the Console and saw several messages stating something about the...

How Do I Easily Configure Multiboot from Clover?

I have OS S X, Windows 10, and two different Linux distros installed.
I would like to only show these and hide all of the other junk boot options. It seems each drive shows an EFI boot, resulting in tons of options that aren't actually bootable operating systems.

I am trying to decide if I want to spend the extra money on an ASUS Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB for my build or just use the Nvidia 1070 I have already? I'm going to be using my build for mainly video editing but some occasional gaming. The Vega 64 card would be close to spec of what some machines Apple has on there site.

Yosemite High Sierra dual boot issue.

Hi, i have Yosemite and High Sierra dual boot on separate hdd. If i boot on high Sierra everything is fine, but, if i boot Yosemite my High Sierra wont boot and return to Clover screen. I already reinstall many times and nothing change. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi everyone, it's almost 2 weeks that i'm trying to get Mojave working on my Lifebook E744, after i successfully installed High sierra on my Desktop, but i'm encountering a series of problems.
For my installation i followed RehabMan guide on the Mojave Laptop Support, but the problem comes with HW Accelation for my HD4600 (Not even tried to fix battery status or anything else).
Here's my SPECS:
- i5-4300M w/ HD4600
- 8GB Single slot DDR3 1333Mhz
- HM86 Chipset
- Intel I217-V Ethernet

I've been backing up and getting ready for a Sierra -> High Sierra upgrade. I tried to clone my Sierra drive and when I went to test it, my USB stopped booting.

I was booting from Clover on a USB and now it won't boot and the backup USB doesn't seem to have the MBR so it won't boot either.

So now I should have two working copies (using CCC) of the OS (Sierra) but no way to boot them because I was using Clover on a USB that no longer boots.

This was the last step before doing the Sierra...

ruined my boot USB and have no way to get to the mac boot.

issues with XFX Vega56 mojave

Ive been having fan speed issues with my card and i was wondering if any of you know a fix. it's the dual fan XFX Vega56 not the reference, not sure if that makes a difference. Ive tried the kext below but it seems that was working too well. after about an hour of fortnite i started getting artifacts and my frame dropped to mid 30's average on 1080p. Im pretty sure the card was overheating. with or without the kext the os isnt seeing the right gpu temps constsantly showing 127C in HWmonitor....

Hi guys!

I finally got my system up and running after four days of sheer madness :banghead: trying to update from Yosemite/Chimera to Sierra/Clover. The good news is - it works!


I know there is a lot, especially when you dive into Clover, but I hope you find this guide helpful.

First thing first, Sabertooth x79 USBs WILL NOT work when try reaching Sierra...

Nvidia has already released web drivers for Mojave long time ago but Apple is holding the release. Nvidia web drivers need signature from apple to release and Lord Apple can hold for months or forever as they did with high sierra web drivers. Apple is holding these web drivers updates so people are forced to buy Mac hardware instead of custom builts.

UPDATE 2 : Metal 2(Similar to DirectX12 on Windows) is replacing the OpenGL on MacOS. So in future, you can expect gaming performance of MacOS...

Overview

The purpose of this guide is to provide a step-by-step guide to installing Mojave, High Sierra, Sierra, El Capitan, or Yosemite on the ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook equipped with Intel graphics.

Overview

One of the serious issues most users will face with 10.11.x (and later, including 10.12.x) is the new USB stack in OS X/macOS. It has a much heavier reliance on ACPI, and as a result is much more likely to expose bugs in your ACPI implementation of _PLD, and _UPC.

Hi!
I succesfully installed the Mojave in a Medion Akoya P6687 with 8th generation Intel Processor, but keyboard, touchpad, sound and wireless don´t work, even after installing MultiBeast with different combinations.
Also, if I don´t modify every time the options of the Pci Devices in Clover the system reboots before the login in a constant loop.

Can anybody help me?

No audio device is showing on System Preferences from voodoohda it enables but I need AppleALC for airplay, I attach (almost) everything that require to solve my issue . There is another problem around intel igpu means it enable shows 1500 mb on About My Mac But when it boot at lock screen , screen is distorted but after wake up and sleep it work normal any advices will helpful.
One more thing if anyone advice me I am little temp. sensitivity if on high load like transfer files over network...
