Hi, I am hackintoshing for the first time!

Here is the summary of the laptop (and I am attaching the exports from CPU-Z too):
- Model: Asus ROG GL553VD
- CPU: Intel i7-7700HQ
- Chipset: Intel HM175
- Graphics: Intel HD630 + Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 Optimus, 1920x1080
- Memory: DDR4-2400 16GB x 2
- Storage: SSD 500GB NVMe + HD 1000GB (2.5")

No HDMI Video, or with HDMI Video/Audio but no internal display

as title.
typically when i plug HDMI, internal display goes off, and no HDMI video at all. when unplug-HDMI, the LCD remain off.
Occasionally, there will be HDMI video+audio correctly, but internal LCD always off.
Never success when plug HDMI during boot up, both screen remain off.

Thinkpad x1c 2017, HD620, 2 TB3, 1 HDMI, checked within windows internal LCD is eDP.
tried eDP patch manually (change port type from 20 00 00 00 to 00 04 00 00 but this issue remains, do solve some lid...

BenQ Monitor at 1920pix-increasing zise in Clover

HI All,

I seen this config in Clover about seeting up the screen resolution. Can I use this to change my screen, bear in mind my max per my BenQ screen is 192x1080. I do have very NVIDIA sc980CS graphic card. I am afraid if try I will break my hackintosh, it took me forever to make it work.

Any advice woukd be appreciated

El Capitan, HDMI & 2k, possible?

Hello,

Specs: i7-6700, GA-H270-HD3 (hdmi 1.4, vga, dvi outputs), HDMI 1.4 cable, DELL u2518d, os 10.11.6.
I have a trouble. I bought a new monitor 2560x1440 (dp 1.2, hdmi 2.0) and connected by HDMI, and now it works only 1080 resolution by upscale. So, is it possible change to 1440? Or i need buy new mb with dp? :'(

HI all,

I have high sierra 10.13.3 on my hackintosh. I am experianecing this funny problem with C4D R19. When I open the file I worked on say next day, I am finding that my geometry has moved to a different position from where I left it. It is happening on all of my files. Has anybody experianced this isuue with hackintosh. This is a serious problem for me, being that I built this hackintosh for C4D work.

In a way have found a fix by accident, which is to use PSR on a null object where...

As title, the problem is: BCM94352HMB Bluetooth not working. Wifi is good.
BCM20702A0 always shows under System Information/USB.
However, System Information/Bluetooth always shows "No information found", also no BT icon in System Preferences.

I struggled with this issue for weeks, I think I probably read all related posts and tried all methods on the Internet...:(
I even bought another piece of BCM94352HMB with different PID & VID, but nothing changed.

Hi, I successfully installed High Sierra 10.13.4 on my Acer Aspire E5 573g, but now I have a huge screen problem. It is flickering! I already read that I have to set the BIOS to legacy but my I can only set UEFI or Legacy and I didn't managed to get clover working in legacy mode :p. Are there other fixes or ways to install clover in legacy mode? I read the clover laptop guide for the creation of the legacy clover usb but nothing changed.

My laptop has an i3 4005u, HD4400 and discrete NVIDIA...

Need Help Installing

I have issues booting up from unibeast. My current system is running Mavericks and now I'd like to upgrade it to High Sierra.

Steps I've taken are:
  • got HS from app store
  • GPT formatted 16GB USB with Unibeast 8.3.1, Legacy mode with no injection
  • Loaded all default settings in BIOS and only changed to ACHI
  • Set up config.plist as iMac 10,1 in CLover configurator
  • At boot, I did "options" and typed in nv_disable=1 npci=0x2000 PCIRootUID=1 -v-s-x and it gave me a black...

Can't boot with iGPU (10.12.15)

Hi,
So im trying to boot with Intel HD 530 (i5 6600K) because i need my gtx1070 in another system.

I have installed IntelGraphicsFixup (1.2.6.RELEASE) & Lilu (1.1.1.RELEASE) with kextbeast.
In clover i set Inject Intel & nv_disable=1 - Also untick nvidia web in the bootloader
UEFi is set to "CPU Graphics" And iGPU...

Can't boot with iGPU (10.12.15)

Clover no boot options. (Requesting help)

Hi,
I am currently having a error where when i boot into clover no options are shown for booting to. This meaning i cannot go into my Mac and change my Clover config. I can boot into my Windows 10 OS but i don't know if that changed anything. Is there anyway i can boot into my Mac so i can change to my backup config file?

slow boot

My High Sierra Hackintosh, takes a lot of time to boot clover.
There is a lot of text about APFS charging before clover starts.
The Mac OS 10.13.4 is installed on a NVMe drive, and takes more time to boot then my other Hackintosh 10.12.6 installed on a SSD drive.

Do someone know how to fix this issue?

I have this issue after 2018-001 security update. before this update, my hackintash worked well. since that, I can not boot with my GTX960 (2GB), it always stops and be frozen when booting(after the attached image IMG_6753.jpg). but I can boot into system with "nv_disable=1" or remove my GTX960.

my system info:
macOS 10.13.4 (17E199)
Nvidia web driver: 387.10.10.10.30.106

I tried:
  • install to L/E with KextBeast: lilu.kext (1.2.3) NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext (1.2.6) and...

Hi everyone, I'm happy to be part of the hackintosh community :)
I'm a very beginner in this world.. After few months trying to get my computer working on OSX, finally I did it, yeah!!!
Apparently, everything is working:
-wifi
-audio
-trackpad..

But when I plug/unplug the power cord, everything freeze. What did I do wrong please? thank you for your help.

My usb 3.0 is working in High Sierra 10.13.2 on ports that aren't being treated as hubs. The HS03 port/hub is my four USB 3.0 rear ports, and all four ports are underneath device HS03 and in the factory DSDT are assigned HS15-18. I believe the SSP3 port/hub is the super speed corresponding to HS03 (however a device has never mounted to it).
