Mac OS recovery cannot be reached

I am getting this when I try to install mac os High Sierra ( Mac OS recovery cannot be reached ) after I have formatted my main drive to OS Journaled,

any ideas why this won't install on my machine. I have -

i7 6700
gtx 970 graphics
16gb ddr4 ram
Gigabyte H110M-S2 Intel Socket 1151 Motherboard

Any help would be much appreciated as I can't seem to find any other people with this issue

ASUS X541UAK - Touchpad & keyboard

Hi,

I have an ASUS X541UAK and I have a little problem with the touchpad and keyboard;

It's an I2C connection as far as I know. I tried some kexts like PS2 and i2C but nothing. In the installer it does not work at all.

So, what kext should I try or needs DSDT patching ?

Installation problem

Hi everyone,

I’ve tried a lot of times to install Mac OS Sierra on my computer and I haven’t yet gotten a successful installation.
When I was in the installation system picture 1 such problems, the installation process is not very well, after the installation is complete, can't get into the system, sometimes appear such circumstance as shown in figure 2, sometimes stuck in apple progress bar. What is the reason for this?
my pc :thinkpad new s2 2016
CPU: i5-6200U

XPS 15 9550: HDMI Audio and battery problems

Hi,

I've been able to get a pretty good setup if it was not for this two little problems. Using FakePCIID HDMI Audio kext and the attached config sometimes I get hdmi audio but not always. I've not been able to get a working 0105 framebuffer hdmi patch, whatever I do the connector does not change from the default 04 (eDP?)

Also, the battery in the status bar does not update, but hwmonitor and the settings applet shows the correct value.

Can you please advice on what I'm doing wrong?

Hey guys,

I have a HP Omen laptop with an i7-7700HQ, 16gb of RAM, a GTX 1050ti (4gb) (also HD630), and I've looked everywhere for help of getting into the installer screen. The laptop also has a 256gb SSD + 1TB HDD, I have partitioned the 256gb ssd for 100gb of space for macOS.

Hey good people, I have a very slow GTX950 on my High Sierra build, and up to now I thought it was because of the mess of webdrivers released after the last OS update. However, (pic attached) shouldn't the lane width be x16 ? Am I missing something here?

I have laptop with Intel Coffee Lake processor i5-8250U with IGPU UHD620. I installed latest FakePCIID, FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics, IntelGraphicsFixup, and Lilu kext. First try, I use 0x59160000 (Kabylake) as ig-platform-id but system won't boot. And in second try, I use 0x19160000 (Skylake) as ig-platform-id and system boot normally. What makes my system won't boot with 0x59160000 (Kabylake) as ig-platform-id. Are 0x59160000 (Kabylake) ig-platform-id still not supported? Please help me,...
