First, I apology for the messy post, I just couldn't wait and make others wait to see this post so I made it in haste as I have work for my PhD and I am trying to catch up to so many things at once :). Yes, if you ask me, I didn't originally plan to hackintosh my PC (though I always wanted) till it bit me quiet often last few weeks when I used linux and/or windows. So I decided to install it. I do have a macbook but I love the shear power of this workstation and the two screens realestate...

Clover does not show High Sierra boot partition

I just updated from 10.12.6 to 10.13.1 and everything went well. After the installation the system rebooted and now the boot partitions are gone in Clover. It does not show the High Sierra partitions, so I can't boot into High Sierra.

I let High Sierra do a default installation, so I guess it converted the partitions to APFS.

I placed the latest (as of 10.13.1 update) apfs.efi into the EFI partition /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI/apfs.efi

I double checked, it is indeed the correct...

Note for users with older mini PCIe wifi cards such as the 2006 MacBook BCM94321MC: there is no native support in macOS Sierra for your devices. AppleAirPortBrcm43224.kext has been omitted from IO80211Family.kext Plugins in macOS Sierra.

Hello!

I'm selling my high-end gaming laptop and I'm gonna build a desktop but I'll need to carry a laptop with me. I want a portable, lightweight laptop that can run macosx without too many problems. I found Acer E15 quite cheap and nice but I'm not sure how it will work.

I used my old Lenovo Z50-70 with Sierra, MacOS worked pretty well but the laptop itself is quite ugly, heavy and not great.

Anyone have any suggestion?

Summary

It appears that Sierra has changed how USB power properties are set. In prior versions, we have injected AAPL,current-available, AAPL,current-extra, AAPL,current-extra-in-sleep, and AAPL,max-port-current-in-sleep directly on the XHC/EHCI ACPI objects. In Sierra, these appear to be replaced by new properties that are injected on the AppleBusPowerControllerUSB object in ioreg.

Hi, I managed to build a pretty stable hackintosh on this laptop but since Yosemite i haven't been able to activate audio.
I tried toleda patch (no codec detected), applehda patched with HDAenabler(nothing), voodooHDA( activate but only left speaker working and no jack working). I attach Ioreg, dpcimanager and clover configurator, please help!

Basic Information:

My laptop is Thinkpad T430s,CPU(i5-3320M),GPU(HD4000, 1600*900, gid-platoform: 0x01660004).

Current, all parts are working, including the GPU is driven. From the fig1, VRAM is 1536MB, and from the fig2 semitransparent launchpad is working.

but QE/CI is not working: (1)there is no water ripple when creating widget in dashboard; (2)especially, as fig3, OpenGL fps is too low(it would be better when startup, but <200). Even the UI will be not smooth when a long time...

Dell Precision 15'' 7520 - High Sierra

I have Dell Precision that I want to use as a Hackintosh. I have an OS X installation from a Macbook Pro on an SSD that I managed to get to the white Apple logo with a black screen on the Precision, but I'm stuck at this point.

I have installed Multibeast, Clover, and FakeSMC so far. What else can I try to at least get the machine to boot to the desktop?

Finally had the courage to update the macbook to macOS High Sierra (10.13.2).

Sleep and Graphics acceleration not working

After reading posts on this and experimenting the machine fails to boot up when installing
FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext (version 1.3.11)

Only way I could get High Sierra running is without FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext.

ig-platform-id = 0x19160000 with intelinject set to true.

Overview

Bonjour, j'ai un Asus ux305fa qhd qui est hakintosher (c'est un mec sur Leboncoin qui m'a fait) sur el capitan avec Clover mais j'ai plusieurs problemes:


1) J'ai une luminosité qui diminue ou augmente par elle-même

2) Je veux faire une sauvegarde complète amorçable pour s'il y a un crash pour avoir une manipulation à faire pour redémarrer

Hey,

I'm wrapping up a Sierra build on my laptop Asus S56. I'm working on the Power Management. I have followed this guide

Did some kind of update I think security and lost clover as the boot device. Used windows task manager after assigning a letter to the efi partition to copy the clover folder to a usb to boot back into the mac setup.

Now though, I dont remember how I had it working before. The UEFI bios will only choose USB or HD. The only way I can boot into clover is to change the microsoft folder in EFI dir to a different name but with that, clover will not boot the windows partition. There are entries...
