[SUCCESS] Monterey on HP 8300, OC 7.8

Hi all,

Finally got macOS Monterey working on the HP Elite 8300 w/ a Core i7 3770. Attached is my working copy(s) of OC 7.8 EFI to install and run macOS Monterey. The base EFI I started from is credited to msart on the Hackintosh-Form.de. This EFI has SIP disabled and boots to OC 7.8 with a iMacPro1,1 profile. I set one USB port to "internal" in the USB map where I plug my BCM WiFi/BT card into (on my setup, this is required for the machine to sleep with the BT dongle...

RX 580 second monitor doesn't get signal

Hello, I have two Sceptre Z27 K monitors and my setup is dual boot. On windows I get both monitors running at 4K@60 Hz. On Monterey I can only use 1 monitor and at 1920*1080, if I turn on the second monitor I'll get 4K on the running monitor and a black screen on the second.Juntas1.jpg
As you can see on the images, Monterey acknowledges the video card, WhateverGreen is loaded but the video card doesn't appear in DCPI manager. I've also chequed with Hackintool and it's not acknowledged.

CPU: i9-9900 k - Overclocked to 4.9 GHZ
Ram: 64 GB
GPU: Powercolor 6800 xt
Motherboard: Aorus Z390 master
SSD: Samsung 970 Evo Plus
Cooling: Noctua Nh-d15

I make 142 000 metal test score.

I have installed macOS Big Sur in a HP prodesk 400 G1 SSF. everything works for me, except the AMD Radeon RX 550 4GB graphics card, because I don't know how to inject into the OpenCore device properties section.When I was using Clover, it was easy because with fakepciid.kext was injecting the EDID + ati + radeonint + fake pci id ... but with OpenCore, I can't manage to inject these properties ... can someone help me?

I would like to run a newer OSX version than High Sierra on my early 2011 MacBook Pro.
It has 16GB of RAM, an i7 and I get along just fine with the rest of the equipment.
I use this MBP as a desktop with an external 34" 21:9 monitor and external keyboard and mouse just fine.
Just a newer OSX would be nice.
Because of this handling the internal touchpad, keyboard, display (LVDS connector on the MLB broken), camera and internal battery (i doesn't have any anymore) - isn't important for me.

So I have just done my first hackintosh on a Lenovo Thinkpad T440, but the audio is not working for some reason.
The output isn't even showing up at the audio settings.

Things I have tried:
Tried every layout codes
reinstall AppleAlc


The Specs are:
Model: Lenovo Thinkpad T440
GPU: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 4300U 1.90 GHz

I'm trying to install BigSur on my Dell Optiplex 3080 Micro
- CPU: Intel Core i5 10500T
- RAM: 32Go 2400Mhz DDR4
- GFX: Intel 630 Graphics
- Drice: M2 Crucial 2080 1Tb

I have successufly installed BigSur, boot OK

Works:
  • Wifi (Intel 8265)
  • 2 x DP port
  • 2 x Back USB2 ports
  • 1 of the 2 front USB3 port (left one)
  • Ethernet (RTL8168)
Not working:
  • Bluetooth
  • Front (right) USB3
  • 2 x back USB3

Did you know there's a built-in speed test in macOS? I didn't until just now- saw this tweet by Luke Holder (@lukeholder) and tried it. Apparently it was added in macOS Monterey.

I was just glancing at Apple's current lineup (including refurbs) and got the usual sticker shock. Wowza. The Pro line is like buying a car.

Then looking at the mini (M1) I was noticing the shortage of ports (only one video output, gotta use usb I guess for a 2nd monitor) and thinking it is not very exciting.

Opencore install stuck at AmiShimTimerBoostExit

Trying to do a clean install of opencore on my kaby lake system and I get stuck during the initialization at AmiShimTimerBoostExit. I setup the config following the dortania guide.
I've tried a few things and I keep getting the same result.
Any bios setting I need to mess around with, used to have sierra via clover installed?
Any help would be appreciated

Broadcom BCM4331 BCM94331CD No Wi-Fi or bluetooth

I've got an old Broadcom BCM4331 BCM94331CD installed for bluetooth and wi-fi. They worked in Sierra with clover and since I've from scratch gone to Monterey using OpenCore neither bluetooth or wi-fi are working, they're just not showing up as an option. Obviously I've not set something up correctly via OpenCore but am not sure what, I assumed I didn't need any drivers.

I did find this mention saying "BCM94331CD (may need to force the kext to load for Catalina)" but I don't know what kext...
