Hello,
i want to use 2 different Nvidia cards within my PC, because of multibooting, Linux KVM videocard passthroug etc.

I have 10.13.6 Geforce 1070 - primary (top primary slot) and Gefore 730(bottom slot), i installed all with Geforce 1070 and added Geforce 730 later i didnt chance any system settings, its enough just to plug the card + reboot and its broken.

Nvidia driver is working, active in both case, only difference clue which i have is that HWmonitor monitoring show GPU die 2...

I have a budget of $1000. I need something faster than my 2012 Mac to use with Final Cut Pro. The benchmarks for the NUC10i7FNH1 (1040 single core/4210 multi-core) look a lot better than what I have now, and the price has dropped quite a bit. Or should I go with a custom build? One of my biggest questions is how much of a difference a discrete video card would make compared to on-board video for processing & rendering video- any suggestions? BTW, I don't need a new machine if there is a used...

I tried my best to install it on my New Dell 5490, I failed miserably, everytime stuck on "End RandomSeed"

UPDATE 12-Jun-20: Native NVRam Support Added. No more buggy 2000 or EMUVariable fixes (Clover still needs AptioMemoryfix, but Opencore doesn't). Slide=0 has been removed from both. If you want both dGPU & iGpu Support, OpenCore is the way to go (also, it's setup as iMacPro vice iMac19). OpenCore and Clover versions updated with the latest and greatest stable versions. Special thanks to @pastrychef His build opened my eyes to this possibility.​

I have only tested this on my Thinkpad P71, but I assume the same could apply to P50/51/52 and P70/71/72.

Hello,

As stated in the title, I want to hackintosh a 10th gen intel laptop. Is this possible?

The specs:

HP Notebook 15-dy1751ms (Specs on HP website)
10th gen i5-1035G1
8GB RAM
Intel Optane 660p NVME drive
Intel UHD Graphics (Model unknown)
Wifi: Realtek RTL8821CE (But support for WiFi is not needed)

CPU: Intel Core i5 9600K
GPU: integrated Intel 630
SSD: Crucial P1 500 MB M.2

A guide in setting up your USB installer using OpenCore,

To start:
A USB stick / flash drive or whatever you want to call them, USB2.0 16GB is preferred, possibly a USB3.0 *may* work. Sandisk makes a good USB installer, no I don’t have shares in them, they just seem to work well.

Kexts Required
These are just going to be the basic kexts to get your machine up and running, you can add your audio and any other kexts after installation

Apple logo showing at same time as welcome screen

I'm trying to install Catalina on Asus laptop with Nvidia graphics. I have been doing trial-and-error over the last week which gets me to the welcome screen. However, I cannot navigate through the welcome screen because the apple logo is blocking it. (screenshot below) How can I fix this problem?

Clover is a great boot loader, and tonymacx86 has developed some great tools to get you up and running. However, some people are still having problems. I think a lot of this has to do with the design of the systems. Many have extra backup internal hard drives or partitions with legacy boot loaders or previous Clover systems. While this may have been fine in the past, with Clover and the newer OS X's, this does not work on many motherboards.

Hello there. This is my first Mojave desktop build. I have been in the laptops community for a while though :)

The system seems pretty stable, however I am getting an annoying GPU-related issue that is also causing my mouse to lag/teleport at regular intervals.

The issue occurs when my second display (a SHARP TV) is connected via HDMI to the Vega GPU, and it is OFF. The system still thinks that there is a display connected (i.e., it shows up in About This Mac and in the Display...

Hi guys, I have a problem with my hackintosh with the following configuration:

Gigabyte b360n wifi

Intel i3 8100 cpu

igpu uhd 630

16 GB ram

bootloader opencore 5.8.0

With catalina 10.15.4 everything worked well. With the latest update I had to change the ID of the integrated video card on 9B3E0000 (everything works) except that after the suspension the screen remains black and I have to reconnect the HDMI plug.

Can someone help me?

Hi there,

im a editorial designer and had a hackintosh setup on my desktop pc for years now. I also use this machine to dualboot Windows. Working daytime, gaming nighttime. I followed every upgrade recommendation and never had any troubles upgrading my system until now.

So, my current core-setup is:
Dualboot Win10 / Mac OS High Sierra
i7 4790 K
Nvidia 1080 Ti

Now, here comes the tricky part: Software compatiblites.
I need to work with some kind of DAM-System like Woodwing, in combination...

Upgrade dead end? Need an advice.

Hello!

I need some help with a very weird problem. I am getting bad pixels/glitch in some of the opened windows of my High Sierra. It does not always happens, but is quite frequent, and when it starts it wont stop until it fills up every window and I can only restart the computer. I must say it is extremely annoying. Could be in any software and surprisingly it affects only the window of that software but not the rest of the screen.

Ubuntu 20.04 doesn't boot using Clover

Hello!
I had a dual boot setup on separate SSDs (Catalina + Win10, both UEFI).
Today i installed Ubuntu 20.04 (also in UEFI) on third SSD, with other drives disconnected.
Now when reconnected all of my drives i can boot Ubuntu from BIOS boot menu but not from Clover:
I can see Ubuntu Linux entry in my Clover and it loads GRUB2 just as fine as BIOS boot menu does but after that when i choose Ubuntu i only see a black screen.
