A while back, I posted how I got Mojave running on my Gigabyte-based Hackintosh that is built around a GA-Z77X-UP5 TH motherboard. This build is showing it's age a little bit, but it still serves me well. Since Catalina is past its initial release bugs with 10.15.1, I figured I'd update my Hack via an upgrade installation—which seemed to be working fine for many people.

Hi !

... as the title says, I´m searching for a alternative to "Play Sound" for macOS Catalina
have used this before to play a Startupsound at macOS startup.

I don´t want to use Apple´s Music.app for this, I would prefer a minimised program or play routine in background.

any suggestions ?

Created the UEFI USB Boot disk AOK - it seems.
Can read the latest NVMe Drive in 512 byte block size and goes through the entire install BUT then ...

I get a POST ERROR when the system auto-reboots after the install of OSX High Sierra onto the above HP ProBook. I have attached a screen shot.
The Post Error says system time is invalid.

I have tried the following to get past this.

1. Reinstalled Windows 10 and set the time ot UTC in the Registry - didn't think that would help but did it...

When trying to install MacOS Mojave on my MSI GP75 Leopard I get this kernel panic. Does anybody know how I can fix it ? My laptop has only 3.0 USB ports, one of them 3.1 and the remaining two 3.2. Sorry for my bad English.

Hello, I have been grinding on this all day and I'm lost. Null Ethernet functions as En0 but is not builtin: io builtin = false

My hackbook has been successfully running with imessage and such for weeks until maybe a week ago or so it stopped working. Today was the first day in a while that I've had time to work on it and I found the problem to be that nullethernet was no longer builtin.

Is there a kext that messes with nullethernet? is my config missing something? I tried applying and...

I'm unable to open Jpgs/images in preview. It crashes every time. I can see the thumbnail in the downloads. Interestingly pngs (and PDFs etc) work as expected. Any thoughts on how to fix this? Other searches have this as being an issue 6 years ago. Thank you.

Dear all, I need help with my new laptop Mojave installation. I had experience with hackintosh on another laptop before so I am familiar with these steps. I followed RehabMan USB booting guide and created a bootable Mojve USB drive.

I updated my High Sierra hackintosh to Catalina. The system still boots in safe mode. I am on clover v5098.

So I'm confused with the current state of Mac OS X Turing drivers. As far as I can gather NVIDIA is able and waiting to make Turing drivers for Mac OS X but they are just waiting on Apple? Is that correct? Or is it possible to get web drivers for an older version of Mac OS X? I need help.
