Hi, my audio and brightness controls are not at all working on Mojave 10.14.1. Also, the brightness seems to go to zero (black screen) half-way during boot and only comes back to full brightness after about 2 minutes or so. This seems to be a common issue on UHD 630 and I could not find a viable solution yet. The system actually boots to login screen within 10 seconds, but I can't see anything on screen before brightness automatically goes from 0 to full again.

Dear all,

I consider right now buying a new audio interface or combination. I have a 12 channel console. So I would like to run 12 outs 12 ins, to use the console. Did someone hear them side by side?

Any thoughts would be helpful as well other possible setups.

I do have only one pair of monitors. I have a thunderbolt 3 motherboard and as well free pci lanes.

issues replacing voodooHDA with appleALC

so for the past week i've been trying to get apple alc to work but i cant get it to work at all
first main issue is when i update and lilu and whatever green (and removing kexts replaced by WEG) i get a kernel panic
2nd is when i disable all appleHDA patches in clover and install appleALC it doesnt seem to get loaded at all (installed in clover)
i got a dell e6540 laptop with ALC 292 audio
main reason from move from voodoo to appleALC is headphone jack outputs alot of static or popping along...

[SOLVED] Enabled Filevault and cannot boot

So I was an idiot and enabled filevault without thinking to check if it would cause problems. I cannot boot as a result. Looking online it seemed that I could turn off the encryption on another partion or usb install disk, but when I try that the option I can unlock the disk but the disable encryption option in diskutility is grayed out and when I try via terminal I get an error saying this core storage operation is not allowed on a sparse logical volume group. Does anyone have any idea if...

i've installed hackintosh mojave 10.14.6 on my asus vivobook x510ua. after I replaced my wifi card to dw1820a I changed my config.plist file in my efi/clover but later restored the original one. now i'm getting this screen in verbose mode and the screen freezes. is there a solution? EFI folder attached.

Hello guys, my hackintosh isn't turning on. Tried to repair permissions in safe mode but it's not working. I'm stuck to Apple Logo... Permissions are the problems I think. Is there a way to reset them? Please help, I'm working on my album and I don't wanna lose everything by installing the system from scratch. BTW I have a second HD mounted. My fault.. Last backup is dated April 19...Should I try to install Mojave on that one and then try to find a way to fix the actual problem? Thank u hope...

Hello there,

I'm having the strangest issue across all of my new builds, as with my signature build, my other X299 Deluxe II has the exact same behaviour.

Whenever I try to boot to BIOS (latest BIOS installed v.2417) with a macOS formatted drive attached, it just goes to black screen! I have to either remove all drives and let it boot into BIOS (due to not having any bootable drive off-course) or log into windows, shut down completely and then boot to "F2" to be able to log into BIOS.

Hello,

the most Hardware on my HP Pavilion x360 14-dh0003ng Laptop works great with Mojave but HDMI Port won't work !

I have full graphic acceleration with my uhd620 vram 1536mb!
But to get this acceleration i had to make a framebuffer Patch with Hackin Tools to the config.plist otherwise only 7mb will show without acceleration.
