Hello,

I just installed fresh Mojave to new SSD. After some initial problems, i managed it work. BUT only if i set Initial Display Output in BIOS to IGFX. But then of course i cant use my dual monitor setup and GPU acceleration and im stuck with very slow (but stable) system. When I set Initial Display Output to PCIe 1 Slot, system boots to login screen and Im able to login without any problems. But very soon (few secs) after login, system freezes and reboot is only...

This is not OS-specific per se because Clover does not finish booting with the message
"x86_validate_topology() 16 threads but 17 registered from MADT"@..."

Hello,
I have so troubled to install MacOS Mojave on a surface book 2(13" 8go 256go i7-8650U). The installation went well, but i don't succeed in having the intel uhd graphics 620 working. Whether i have no hardware acceleration with 20mo in graphics, or if i have followed other resources with right fake id, i have the hardware acceleration working well but only with usb c monitor(laptop screen is just black). I don't have find resources about making the surface book 2 a hackintosh, someone...

Blew up Clover. Need advice on paths forward

i just Updated to the latest Mojave. Upgraded fine no issues. Stupidly, I decided to update my Clover to the latest version. Then it would not boot. I went into the UEFI shell, deleted my EFI folder, then proceeded to copy the EFI backup folder to replace the active one. Copying was slow and when it got to clover/boot/misc it seemed to hang. I power cycled now the Clover screen can see no active boot options, and doesn’t even have a UEFI shell to work with. I have

Trackpad has double-tap before login, but not after login.

My HP 2000 2b89wm laptop is getting closer to being a full hackbook, but there's still a few things missing. One of them is that the trackpad double-tap only works before I log in, but after login I have to use the trackpad left/right buttons, like a mouse. In system preferences there is "No trackpad found" under Trackpad. It worked (and showed up) perfectly under El Capitan.

The other things (battery life, power management, boot time went from 40sec to 120sec, etc.) I'll ask for help in...

2 days ago I got a semi success with everything working except for graphics acceleration today as recommended by someone else I changed my
ig platform from 19120001 to 19120000 although I had already tried it once and it didn't work.
to my surprise instead of booting ir just hangs on igoscreenlockstate 3 I tried changing the ig platform back to 19120001 but that just resulted in a
bootloop now whenever I have any ig platform set it either hangs on mgoscreenlockstate 3 or starting optimistic...

HI to all I'm writing from Italy so first of all sorry for my english.. and also for my questions. I a very inexpert pc user.
But in my opinion it is an amazing idea to install osx on a pc.. so I would try.
Attached you can find my pc configuration.... I would like to install on a SSD sandisk 256gb with tplink wi-fi card atheros AR9287.
I already tried to set an installation but the apple logo appears but nothing happined
Pls could you give me some instructions?

Overview

The purpose of this guide is to provide a step-by-step guide to install Mojave, High Sierra, Sierra, or El Capitan on the Kaby Lake Intel NUC7 series Intel NUC mini computers. My NUC7 is the NUC7i7BNH, although I expect the guide will work on other similar models. Preliminary support for the NUC8 "Bean Canyon" has also been added.

I installed with 8GB RAM (one stick), and an SM951/AHCI M.2 SSD. Recommend two sticks in dual-channel.

Hi All,

I'm running 10.13.5, and I purchased a Sapphire Pulse RX 580 to replace my GTX 970. The reason for switching from gtx970 to rx580? I'm tired of waiting for nVidia for web drivers.

I currently have the following kexts in my EFI/CLOVER/kexts/other directory:

FakeSMC, Lilu, NvidiaGraphicsFixup, Shiki, and USBInjectAll

What I want to know is can I just remove the NvidiaGraphicsFixup, and add WhatEverGreen? Then swap the cards and boot, or do I need to do something else? Do I need to...

USB 3.1 not tethering

Hi everybody,
I discovered this strange behaviour of my USB3.1 (USB-C) port: if I connect my iPhone to work as a modem (hotspot USB), it is recognised by iTunes but doesn't appear as a suitable device in System Preferences/Network panel.
If I connect it to a USB3.0 port, everything is ok and I can connect to the internet.
Is this a known limitation related to USB3.1 in hackintoses or I missed something? Mine is a HS 10.13.6 running on a iMac 18.3.
