Not Getting Acceleration from Vega 64

I can't get any kind of acceleration on my just-installed ASUS Strix Vega 64 8GB. No Metal, No OpenCL; UI rendering artefacts in Safari and somewhat laggy animations in Finder. I've tried a lot of the popular fixes for this, including trying multiple SMBIOS's. I'm on 10.13.6 and want to move to 10.14, which is why I got the card.

No mouse cursor - Mojave

I installed on my build (ga z77n wifi, gt620) macOs Mojave using latest Unibeast. After installation i used Multibeast for High Sierra. The system is working, i have sound, network etc. But...! I have not mouse cursor. Only when i shake mouse i can see it! Help me Obi-wan Kenobi! :)

Ok so this is a second computer I thought I would try to hackintosh. Its a Dell Inspiron 530. What are my chances for getting High Sierra on here? So far with Clover and Legacy settings, I have not been able to get past a row of plus signs. No other text in verbose mode. Just:

I have tried to remove VboxHFS and use HFSPlus.efi.
I have included FakeSMC.kext in Other
I have added apfs.efi.

I've searched numerous threads but have not been able to solve this one yet....

Hi everyone,


I thought I should share my success getting my system up and running. Many thanks to those who kindly provided the stepping stones to this process. The critical step that got me past the dreaded PCI Configuration Begin was a kext called 'AppleUSBXHCI.kext' which I have provided in the zip bundle (called 'kexts.zip').

I will attempt to help anyone I can, but I'm honestly just a trial and error hacker - I don't really fully understand most of this stuff!

Hello everybody,

this forum have always helped me since so many years so I hope that will help also this time!

I have recently bought a Lenovo E460 that is a Skylake Laptop with Integrated Graphics only.

I've managed to install Mojave and have basic functionalities working but I'm stuck with some things that I cannot make work.

What works so far:
- Video: integrated graphics seems working good.
- Skylake Power Management seems to work (though I'm sure)

Problems:

- DSDT: I extracted it...

Hey, im new to hackintosh. I have a question, i already have a PC with Windows 10, and i will buy a new hdd for MacOS, so for the installation, do i need to delete windows and install it later, or can i leave Windows and install MacOS on a separate drive? Thanks.

Hello, I'm new here and probably less technical that most on here. I am a video editor and this is my first Hackintosh install.

Asus X299 Deluxe
Intel i7900 (10 Core)
Corsair 32GB DDR4 3200 (4 x 8GB)
Crucial 500GB SSD (Macintosh HD Drive)
Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti 11GB OC
Asus Thunderbolt 3 PCI Card (Disabled at present
LG 43" 4K Monitor (3840 x 2160)

I have a generic load of Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6 but am a little unsure of the next steps to iron this out now that the OS is installed....

Hello community! I was using macOS Sierra 10.12.6 with Clover r4123 without problems with plans to upgrade to Mojave and now when I upgrade Clover I can't boot on macOS and get this Kernel Panic:

So I started with a High Sierra install with everything working great, first tried to just run the Mojave installer and it would freeze when trying to boot off the Install volume. So I read the post on upgrading from High Sierra here and as instructed I upgraded to the latest Clover (r4600 I think it was), and it said to install kexts but I figured it has been working fine in High Sierra so I can skip this step (I suspect this is the cause of my problems). I did a Vanilla install of Sierra and I got almost like 80 % success , everything excluding the Hotkeys , Audio quality, Card Reader, Wi-Fi and webcam were working fine and I updated it to High Sierra and now I don't have any issues other than this , Did someone tried installing OS X on this Laptop ? If yes , share the resources that you've used , I'm having a hard time getting the Audio to work without loud buzz , it is so annoying so this will be my first and foremost thing , BTW my laptop...

Overview

One of the serious issues most users will face with 10.11.x (and later, including 10.12.x) is the new USB stack in OS X/macOS. It has a much heavier reliance on ACPI, and as a result is much more likely to expose bugs in your ACPI implementation of _PLD, and _UPC.

HD 520 Graphics

Hi all,

I'm having issues with accelerated graphics on my laptop. CPU is an i3 6006u.
I've tried entering 0x19168086 in the IntelGFX field & 0x19160000 in the ig-platform-id but each time I reboot it panics and restarts. Attached are my plist & kexts.

Also, I'm unsure what SMBIOS to use as well, I currently have iMac 14,2 set by default as I couldn't see any other similar to the i3 6006u, 2Ghz.

Any help will be appreciated.
