So I finally decided to make a hackeytosh for school, mostly cuz I spilled a half-glass of Finlandia and Cranberry in my real MBP, quickly doing some surgery to it and ..well, in the end it was ok, except the keyboard was kack, had to use a bluetooth one instead.

Welcome to my XPS 15 9560 guide. This guide should work for most hardware configurations, but here is my configuration:​

• CPU: i5-7300HQ @ 2.5GHz

I tried to change my serial number through Clover Configurator, but now my mac won't boot up past selecting Mac in the clover boot. I was trying to enter the boot arg: nv_disable=1, but I can't type _... I can only do -.
I'm not sure what is causing this, but any help would be appreciated.

Hey. I just got a Vega card and spent longer than I would have liked/visited some other sites that i would prefer not to in order to get this card running fast and quietly. I updated my hackintosh from High Sierra 10.13.6 to Mojave from iTunes yesterday. I updated on my backup SSD for safety. It worked fine for the first few hours.

The first and only issue so far was sleep and wake up. My previous build (10.13.6 on another SSD) had no problem of it, everything sleep-related worked flawless. When it goes to sleep, HDD and fans both stop, and it would wake on a wired keyboard or mouse. And I had already created custom SSDT for USB ports, all ports worked fine on...

I’ve been trying to have a build work running 10.13.6 and consisting of:

-8700K

-Gigabyte AORUS Gaming 5 Wifi (with broadcom instead if intel)

-XFX RX 580 8GB XXX

-Samsung 970

-Gigabyte Thunderbolt 3 card

I can't boot to the installer. The system crashes (reboots) about a second after this shows:

Hi,

I have a ASUS z370E, with a Samsung NVMe PCIe startup drive. Mojave runs well, but it does not want to install or upgrade directly on the NVMe.
I have to CarbonCopy the drive to a SSD, install Mojave on it and then CarbonCopy back to the NVMe.

The NVMe installation say "I cannot find needed resources"

Am I doing something wrong or is it a known problem?

I up HSierra to Mojave from AppStore, when it completes the process in HSierra and reboot, it starts from the Mojave installer, but it always reboot. in verbose mode, the information scrolls too fast and I don't see valuable information.

Hello. I have high Sierra installed on one ssd. Then I have windows 10 installed on a second ssd which is 120gb.

For months now, my audio interface (Apogee Duet 2, USB-powered) seemingly randomly cuts out, causing my speakers to pop loudly, then power cycles indefinitely.

These drop-outs are not obviously tied to any activity on my Mac--it could happen when I'm checking email on Chrome, using Pro Tools, on Steam, or even if the computer is totally idle.
