I received an HP z27q 5k monitor in the mail yesterday and I saw that some people were able to make the Dell UP2715K work in 5K mode on a hackintosh. I thought I'd give it a try, and I can't get it to do anything other than 4k.
I started with 10.10.1 and the nvidia web drivers, with a gtx 970 video card, on a mac with sysdef imac 15,1. This is a recent hackintosh build using relatively top of the line parts as of the guides from December.
