I've been running 10.8.4 and plan to move to Yosemite. The box has a SSD as the bootable drive with apps and system files installed. There are several other HDDs in the tower, one of which is a time machine drive that has an up to date back up of the bootable SSD.
Assuming the install of Yosemite goes perfectly over my previous 10.8.4 install and successfully boots to Yosemite. Am I then able to run Migration assistant to reinstall the apps and system files from my previous bootable SSD...
