Decided to install Sierra on my old Hackintosh machine. This machine ran Mountain Lion perfectly. Sierra, not so much.
Specs:
Gigabyte GA-EP43-UD3L rev.1.0, Cartri Mac BIOS (contains DSDT edits) F9
Xeon E5472 (SSE4.1)
8GB DDR2-800
Video cards, a whole pile of them: 8800 GT, GTX 285, 8600 GT, 9600 GT (all should work), but lets pick 8800 GT for example
Samsung SATA HDD
AWARD BIOS set to the recommended settings in the install guide.
I had no trouble creating USB sticks on a real Mac...
Boot gets stuck in different place every time.
