Can't start hackintosh without nv_disable=1? Also wifi troubles.

Im having a tough time getting some kexts to work for my Asus PCE - AC56 or AC1300. And if I don't put in nv_disable=1 (despite having the correct nvidia drivers installed) it won't start up.
Edit: forgot to mention I have a GTX 980 TI as well.
