My system reboots after wake from sleep if monitor is off!

I have a gigabyte Z97N WIFI board running EL Cap. I am running internal graphics. Every time my computer goes to sleep and my monitor turns off and i wake my computer it causes a kernel panic and my system reboots. On reboot it says that may system rebooted because of a problem. This is the report it generates to send to apple. hope someone can shed some light on this. My hack is running flawless otherwise. Running El Cap 10.11.5.
