I've been reading the forum for a while, and found several discrepancies. Well, discrepancies from my perspective. Based on price differences on PSU, chassis, mother board and cooling, your September 2016 guying guide gives a $75 lower price for a CustoMac Mini, than for a CustoMac Budget ATX. So, the Mini seems to be a cheaper animal overall, than the Budget ATX, which might be a cheap beast if you may need any performance.
I see you endorse basically Gigabyte motherboards....
Bugdet low-power home server which competes with the basic $499 Mac Mini mainly on power consumption
